Romanian ultras have big problems since authorities introduced new system of anti ultras restrictions in December 2011. For several years, police, politicians and the Roman Football Federation president Dumitru Dragomir (ultras call him Dragomi Mitica) do their best to destroy ultra movement. Mitica is a man with criminal past, twice commended by the court. He is accompanied by George "Gill" Becali, politician, entrepreneur and after all, the president of Steaua Bucharest. So the Steaua ultras had the hardest life so far. But it's not easy and for the other groups.

Some of the sanctions in new law are: 2 to 5 years jail for pyro, 1-2 years ban for entering pitch. Ban system is same like Croatian. Banned supporters must go the the police station during matches to report. Those who fall to appear will be punished with money fine.

On the friendly match Romania - Urugay (February 29), ultras raised message against Football federation and cops immediately attacked them.

Due to all this, last Saturday (March 24) Romanian ultras gathered in front of government to protest. Again, problems with police.

About 2000 supporters of the Romanian club Universitatea Craiova took to the streets Friday (06.04.2012) to protest against the Romanian Football Federation after the federation excluded their club.

It's said they have not withdrawn their sports dispute with former coach Victor Piturca from a civil court ).

Another episode from the long saga that is “The derby of Cluj-Napoca” , one of the hotest ecounters in Romania’s championship. This time the players took center stage, starting a huge fight after CFR scored, fight that would eventualy lead to the match being stoped in the first half.
The fans rose to the occasion also.

b] SS Politehnica Timisoara[/b] - Liebling /5th league,we started over from this league,we play on the old stadium of Poli,behind the University Politehnica,where it all started in 1921,so back to the roots.there is also ACS Poli in 2nd league,but that is just the team ACS Recas moved to Timisoara and named Poli,no ultras go there...
